This 1994 Joel White-designed Brooklin Boat Yard beauty returned to Maine recently for a quick turnaround after a fantastic winter in the Caribbean. She competed in the hotly contested Spirit of Tradition Class; less than two minutes separated the winning boat from and Dragonera‘s third-place time.

2015 Refit Log:

In a relatively small time window, the Lyman-Morse team replaced nine deck hatches, eight margin boards, and an existing pilothouse window. We built and installed l-shaped trim to receive the sky screens for four of those hatches. The hatches were installed with BoatLife Polysulfide.

The aluminum cockpit coaming was cut off the deck and was replaced with a 8/4 teak version of its original self and varnished mirror-bright.

We fabricated a new aluminum mounting flange for the pilot house hatch and made and installed 4 stainless winch support brackets for the coaming winches. Winches were also serviced.

The cockpit and pilothouse received a fresh application of Awlgrip and gleaming coats of varnish the complete the job.

We sent off a happy crew and owner to enjoy a fantastic summer of sailing!
