This custom 1996 Lyman-Morse 38 sedan cruiser has a matched oak veneer interior with varnished teak and holly sole making her bright and an exceptionally comfortable live aboard cruiser. Described as the “sportscar” of the Lyman-Morse fleet, her C. Raymond Hunt deep vee design provides unusual maneuverability. Originally named “Radio Waves,” she cruises at 23 knots and tops out at 28. Her electronics include two Raytheon and one Northstar GPSs, two depthfinders, radar, VHF enslaved to Northstar GPS, autopilot. She has twin cylinder trim tabs, espar, davits, 4hp dinghy, twin cruisaire air conditioners, and a 7.5kw Northern Lights generator. Her updated electrical system includes a centrally monitored charger inverter with separate 160 amp alternator for the four 8D house batteries. Layout and Design

ACCOMMODATIONS: Located forward is the owner’s cabin with large V-berth, hanging lockers and bureaus. A U-shaped galley is located aft to port. A full service head with separate stall shower is opposite the galley.

MAIN SALON: The main salon has a L-shaped settee to port and helm station to starboard equipped with gauges and electronics built into the dash area. The adjustable helm seat is from Pompanette. A barrel back chair and entertainment center with mounted TV is located conveniently on the starboard bulkhead of the main salon aft the helm station. To port forward is a custom 26″ high cabinet with countertop for charts. L-shaped settee with a hi-lo table can be converted to a double berth. Sliding Freeman windows are located port and starboard aft. A sliding door next to conning station provides easy access to starboard side deck. There are three new Lexan hatches with Ocean-Air screens for good ventilation and lots of natural light.
