Summary
Ken Sawyer has worked with us now for several years. The initial projects were large refits: first a Tashiba 40 and then one of our Seguin 46’s. The success of both projects led us to build FAIRWEATHER, the first in our latest Seguin Series. Along the way, we also worked on Ken’s houses to develop and illustrate his Yarchitecture designs. Yarchitecture is Ken’s term for his design philosophies he is incorporating into his home. We built his concepts into his houses (both on Kiawah Island, South Carolina and in Cushing, Maine), so he can showcase and sell his yarchitecture to others. This newest project — LIONHEART CONCERTO – brings another member to the team: a Yamaha Piano. Featured in this beautiful Bob Perry designed 42 is a full-sounding Yamaha piano which will be tied into the boat’s sound system for the total music package. How many boats of 42′ feature a Yamaha piano? The hull is extremely efficient and is powered using only a single 225hp conventional drive system.
