Galavant is hull Number 7 of our great Seguin design. Launched in 1982, she remains one of our favorites.
Galavant sleeps four in two private staterooms, each with a double berth. Three available berths in the main saloon round out the accommodations. The forward cabin begins fairly aft due to the large forward storage locker accessible through the foredeck. The double berth is to port with a settee on centerline and a large bureau and locker combination along the starboard side. This berth is comfortable even in a seaway due to its aft location. The head is aft of the forward cabin on the port side and is spacious enough to be utilized as a shower. The main saloon is striking with its laminated beams and knees on the overhead. The large centerline table is served by an L shaped settee to port and a settee to starboard. The Pilot berth to port is be one of the most comfortable sea-berths on the yacht. To starboard, above the settee, is locker storage and a two tiered book shelf. Against the forward bulkhead is a polished – brass Luke stove. The spacious U shaped galley is to starboard with built-in dish and cup storage, double sink, and copious storage for dry goods as well as pots and pans. To starboard is the private aft cabin with double berth settee, hanging locker, and shelves. Galavant is beautifully finished in the highest quality teak joiner work, rarely seen today.
