On March 3rd, the team at Lyman-Morse Technologies successfully executed the rollover of our large architectural canopy project, which is currently under construction in Thomaston, Maine. The team craned the 80′ x 32′ composite canopy-half outside, flipped it over, and nestled it back inside so the next stage of the project can begin. This half will now receive a Class A marine-grade coating, while the second half is constructed adjacent to it.
This is part of a major architectural feature coming to Kendall Square in Cambridge, Massachusetts, this fall. The canopy will cover the entrances to the MBTA station and serve as one of the showpieces for the redevelopment project.
