Interior

The interior of “Niche” features classic Herreshoff style treatment. In the bow of the boat, there is a generous V-berth trimmed out with a mahgony arch.  There is a bench seat at the foot of the berth with drawers and cabinets port and starboard. A spacious head follows aft, on the starboard side. On the port side aft of the master cabin is a large hanging locker. The ample settee comes in right behind the hanging locker. It can also be used as a great offshore upper and lower berth if needed. On the starboard side, behind the head and opposite the settee is the large dinette with seating for 5. It can also be converted into a large double berth. In the aft part of the Seguin, the galley is right behind the settee, with deep storage and refrigeration. The nav station is also in the aft part of the boat, coming in right behind the dinette and across from the galley.
