The Morris 46 Seaforth is a beautiful example of the Ocean Series 46, with two double berth cabins, a large aft head with separate shower and wet locker, a spacious galley, and well laid-out cockpit. Built in 2001, she has only been used seasonally in the Northeast and was always stored inside a heated building and maintained to the highest standards by Morris Yachts. Featured in Ferenc Mate’s book The World’s Best Sailboats, she has a beautiful Herreshoff-style interior with rich, gloss varnished mahogany trim and white panels, which keep the interior bright on all days.

Accommodations

Forward Cabin & Head

There is a large centerline berth with two opening S/S framed ports and optional S/S framed overhead hatch. The berth has four drawers and two foot lockers below. There is a hanging locker with cork lining and shelves. There is beautiful Mahogany hull sheathing fastened to “Rib-Kore” frames with closed cell foam insulation. Full-length open shelves above each berth with fiddles provides adequate storage. There is a new custom mattress with custom sheets and mattress pads.

Lift-top storage lockers are located outboard port and starboard of bunk, plus a fan for comfort.

This cabin has its own vanity with a Corian countertop, S/S 16” x 10” oval sink, pressure hot & cold water with mixer valve. There is an angled mirror with mahogany frame and medicine cabinet, plus a 110v outlet.

Aft Cabin 

This cabin has a large double quarter berth with lee cloths, custom mattress with custom sheets and mattress pads (2018).  There is a hanging locker with cork liner, plus overhead chart storage cabinet. There is also a small storage cabinet and a mahogany framed mirror behind the door. There is also a dresser with counter top locker, two drawers and foot locker.

For ventilation and light there is an opening S/S framed port to cockpit, one to side deck and a cabin top SS framed hatch. Additionally there is a 6’ shelf outboard with fiddle, a  carbon monoxide detector (2018), reading lights and a fan.

Aft head

This head features a Raritan Elegancce Vortex Vac Electric Head ( 2018) w/ Black water tank sensor and Corian countertops. The vanity has a S/S highly polished oval sink, hot & cold pressure water, with a manual foot pump and folding faucet for cold water. There is a separate shower stall with acrylic hi-fold door and seat and oiled teak trim. For storage there is a wet hanging locker. A cabin top S/S framed overhead hatch & opening S/S framed port light provide ventilation & light.
