A custom cruiser/racer designed by Stephens Waring Yacht Design and built by Brooklin Boatyard in Brooklin, Maine, Isobel has exceeded expectations. Visually Isobel is a unique blend of traditional and contemporary design, which is functionally complemented with outstanding performance and exceptional comfort.  Her split-level cockpit affords plenty of room to sail the boat well without interfering with the lower forward cockpit with its comfortable seating and drop leaf table.

With her cold-molded hull and composite deckhouse, Isobel was built to very high standards, and her abilities include outstanding racing performance and exhilarating day sailing. She can be sailed well and handled by a small crew as demonstrated in four double-handed and numerous Spirit of Tradition races, and her versatile sail inventory offers rewarding sailing in a wide variety of conditions. Isobel’s uniqueness has drawn considerable attention and she has been featured in numerous articles.
