Summary
Lyman-Morse is building hull #3 of the Monhegan 42 semi-custom line. The Monhegan 42 is part of a successful collaboration between Lyman-Morse and C. Raymond Hunt & Associates. The hull shares Hunt’s legendary deep “V” design which ensures great performance while being extremely seaworthy.
Hull #3 will feature the Sedan configuration and will be powered by twin Cummins QSB 6.7’s (550 HP). The engines will be paired to traditional shafts and props in tunnels, which provides a shallow draft of just 3′.
Options abound on this model, with four available configurations, including flybridge, extended cruiser, and open. As with everything Lyman-Morse does, classic boatbuilding and technology are intertwined in this model at every turn, including available cored SCRIMP hull construction, Humphrey Interceptor trim tabs, Side Power bow and stern thrusters, as well as varnished mahogany, 360-degree lines of sight, and much more.
