Summary

Chewink, a Seguin 49, is the boat Cabot and Heidi Lyman circumnavigated upon with their three boys, 1987-1991. We like to think that we might have the most well traveled boats of any builder and perhaps some of the most experience in-house than any yard known. It shows in the quality and how our boats are used. What’s more, Cabot and Heidi completed a second world cruise to the South Pacific 1999-2006.

After more than 60,000 miles and 21 years of ocean cruising, Chewink spent the winter of 2007-08 in the West Indies. One of the Lymans’ favorite pictures, included in the slideshow above, shows Chewink reaching into Bequia on April 1, 2008, with Zach Lyman at the helm, Heidi grinding in the genoa on the leeward rail, and Cabot on the fantail.
