Seller’s Comments of their ownership of “Off Piste”:

“I bought the boat in August, 2021, and immediately had it taken to LM in Rockland, ME for a 10 month refit.  My brief to LM was to go through the boat end-to-end and fix anything broken.  I also asked to have the bottom done, and the hull and topsides painted.

I also had a bow thruster added.

The only “surprise” during the process was the Hamilton waterjet, which had gotten a good report from the surveyor, but which LM said required a complete re-build, which they did.

The bottom was completely taken down and media-blasted.  In replacement, LM put:

               Interlux Primocon Metal Primer

               Interlux Trilum 33 Antifouling

               Interprotect Expoy Primer

               Interprotect White

               6 coats Interlux CSC

Since I have had the boat, it was always stored inside, and was in the water for less than 50 hours, so I think the bottom paint is in pretty good shape.

The cabin sides were done with 8 coats of Epifanes Varnish, plus 2 coats of sealer.

After the hull and topsides had been painted, LM suggested that I do the deck too since all of the chrome was removed for the other painting.  I agreed.

The engine was serviced by LM during the refit, and also had a recent service by a local Cummins diesel mechanic in Wanchese.  An oil sample was recently taken, and I will forward the results.  The engine has always functioned perfectly and starts on the first crank.  500 hours since new.

4 new starting batteries, plus 1 new battery for the bow thruster.

All of the soft goods were replaced with new during the refit.

As to the trailer, I had it serviced and had all 6 tires plus the spare replaced.  It should give no trouble.

Over $200K was spent at Lyman-Morse for this project.”
