Summary

Designed by Spencer Lincoln, Abenaki was the last boat built at Matt Cousins yard in East Blue Hill. After many decades Webber’s Cove Downeast boats have earned a solid reputation for their comfortable sea keeping capabilities. With fine entries and stable stance in choppy Atlantic waters. She instills a confidence of safety, practicality, and strength. With high bows (think dry), speed, stability (from a low central center of gravity), simplicity, and a prop that gives you a good bite when you need it. Abenaki can turn on her own axis with ease, and everything that makes this boat go, is ubiquitous.
Abenaki is a fine example of the Webber’s Cove 22, always stored indoors over the winter and with only 120 original engine hours.
