Work Begins on City's Tallest Building

Rockland — Foundation work has begun on what will be, upon completion, the tallest building in Rockland's history.

Forms were being set for the foundation on Oct. 24.

Lyman-Morse Boatbuilding is constructing a 64-foot, 11-inch tall structure at 250 Main St. at the intersection of Main and Pleasant streets where Hollydachs Pet Center and Aquarium was formerly located. That building was torn down in September 2010.
