Lyman-Morse’s location on the St. George River is not only a hub for Maine boatbuilding, but a prime spot for kiteboarding. The unique “wind tunnel” effect that blows past the Lyman-Morse docks in Thomaston create near-ideal conditions for kiting on a fairly regular basis- if you can stand the chilly Maine waters!
