Dr. Stanley Paris, who has commissioned the construction of KIWI SPIRIT and plans to complete a non-stop circumnavigation aboard the Farr-designed monohull, recently met with designer Bruce Farr and Cabot Lyman to explore the full-scale mock-up of the cockpit.
Dr. Paris will undertake this voyage at age 76 in an attempt to break the record set by Dodge Morgan in 1986 after sailing a singlehanded non-stop circumnavigation in 150 days at the age of 55.
