The 12,750 sq ft Lyman-Morse
custom metal fabrication facility

Bow section of new aluminum 60' motoryachtWith the addition of  Lyman-Morse Fabrication (LMF), the entire construction process of aluminum boats is now under our supervision providing cost-effective control of our custom projects from the keel-up. Located just 2 miles from Lyman-Morse, we now can supervise and build an entire project to Lyman-Morse standards of quality.

The large 85' by 150' by 22' high steel building, formerly known as Steele and Marshall, provides the capability for us to build metal boats of almost any size. Our first construction project which started immediately in the spring of 2004 was an innovative 58' aluminum steadysailer from the design boards of C.W. Paine, Inc. Our second yacht is the 60' Michael Porter aluminum long range motor cruiser designed to transit the oceans of the world.

Mazak AJV-25/404 CNC In addition, LMF is fast becoming the source for custom-made metal marine fittings and equipment in New England for several quality yacht builders. Our Mazak AJV-25/404 CNC Vertical Machining Center is capable of turning out 20" X 40" X 18" chunks of raw metal into the finest, custom-made, marine hardware available. Examples  include the custom bow and stern chocks for ANNIE ROSE, the custom-made aluminum radar mast and one-piece 34' bowrail for WOMBAT.

Dave Wyllie merged his talented crew who had recently completed the very successful and handsome aluminum commuter, COMET, built for Jeff Pierce with the exceptional group already at work at the facility.
