Ken Sawyer has been working closely with us on the development of a new Seguin line of sailboats. Also, we are pleased that Sparkman & Stephens Design has joined up again with us to rekindle the magic of our previous and highly successful Seguin 44/46 series. We are very excited about the new series which is designed for true offshore capabilities. From the SCRIMPED hull and plentiful structural supports, to the beautiful custom interior joinery and complete systems, these are "go-anywhere" boats. Although a classic, she is modern as well in terms of her hull form and rigging. The hull is very modern with a deep keel and spade/carbon rudder. The rig is a triple spreader, carbon mast which will carry carbon and spectra sails. The combination of tall rig and easily driven hull will prevent the need for large overlapping headsails even in light air. The interior is all mahogany with a maple cabin sole to keep the feeling of spaciousness. Click here for more layout & design details. The series was kicked off with the 52' FAIRWEATHER which was completed and launch in early October 2004 as scheduled. The series does not stop with 52'. We will also be building 60' and 68' models of this new line. With the S&S / Lyman-Morse collaboration back in full swing, these will be exceptional boats offered in a variety of layout options.
