| Accommodations Three private staterooms, with two heads. The interior is in the Herreshoff style, beautifully finished with rich teak, airy and well lit by windows, deck hatches and port lights. Ash and teak ceilings through-out. A teak and holly cabin sole compliments the interior. Reverse cycle Marine Air provides air conditioning and heat. From forward, a large V-berth stateroom with two hanging lockers, lots of drawers and under bunk storage. One very large hatch and two opening ports provide light and ventilation. An enclosed head with tub and shower can be accessed from this stateroom or the passageway. Opposite the head to port, is a small cabin with a single berth, hanging locker, sink, hatch and opening port light. The Main Salon is very large, with dinette to starboard with seating for six, lockers and shelves outboard. Aft of the dinette is a spacious U-shaped galley. Opposite the galley is a comprehensive sit-down navigation station with full desk. Continuing aft, the passageway contains a large built-in freezer, microwave oven and set of three large drawers with storage above. The Master Stateroom offers two single fore and aft berths, port and starboard, with an ensuite head with shower. Two hatches, four opening ports, cedar-lined hanging locker, bookshelves and various drawers and lockers. All berths including the salon benches (can be used as sea berths) have lee cloths; there are hand rails and fiddles throughout. There are storm shutters for all port lights and ½” Lexan storm windows for the main cabin windows. All hatches, port lights and the companionway have screens. The cockpit is a traditional Hood design, spacious, offering easy access to the deck, and seating large enough to sleep upon. Galley A U-shaped galley is designed for offshore use, yet within easy reach of the salon dining or the cockpit. All counter tops have fiddles. A bar is located next to galley with ice-maker and bottle storage. |
